Edinburgh Nights – Friday 15th November

A busy show today, which starts off with the majority of our guests not in the studio, not in the building, and not even in Edinburgh. They all make it in time… mostly… to give you the best sample of the nightlife in Edinburgh this weekend.

Coming up on this week’s show

Can everyone make it to them microphone through the rain? Fingers crossed we’ll have our Edinburgh Nights guests ready for you at 3pm on 98.8 FM in Edinburgh (on Castle FM) and then on the podcast here at 4pm.

Edinburgh Nights – Friday 18th October

  • Stewart Laing and Pamela Carter talk to us about the huge story that is Paul Bright’s Confessions of a Justified Sinner, playing at Summerhall.
  • Teddy comes in ahead of his gig at The Stand to talk about the realities of comedy.
  • And we have Rod Jones and Sean McLaughlin from  The Birthday Suit before their charity acoustic set for Oxjam in Cabaret Voltaire (I might even sneak in an ‘what’s up with Idlewild?’ if I can).

And we’ll have our regular musical playlist from the bands playing Edinburgh this weekend, and Tom Dibden from All Edinburgh Theatre takes us round the theatrical shows in the Capital.

Join your host Ewan Spence for ‘Edinburgh Nights’, live at 3pm this Friday 27th September on 98.8 Castle FM, listen live on the Castle FM 1 webstream (www.castlefmscotland.com), or head to the Edinburgh Nights homepage (edinburghnights.thepodcastcorner.com) to download the podcast after the show and listen again.

Edinburgh Nights – Friday 11th October

I get the feeling that the ‘fruity language‘ tab needs to added to the show this week, at least for our radio broadcast on Castle FM. No matter what is said, this is still your guide to some of the best events in Scotland’s capital city over the weekend.
